2. Your rights
You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. Please write to info@adler-net.de.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
3. Server log files
When you open this website, data your browser transmits is automatically stored in server log files: the page requested, date and time, volume of data transferred, referrer, browser type and version, operating system and IP address. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, trouble-free operation). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest. They are not combined with other data.
4. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, we process your details solely in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required, unless statutory retention periods apply.
5. Cookies and local storage
Simply visiting this website sets no cookies. The only thing stored is your cookie decision, in your browser's localStorage under adler-net.consent. That is not a cookie, is never transmitted to us, and is exempt from consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG because it carries out precisely the choice you made.
6. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It is used only after your explicit consent. Without consent no Google script is loaded, no connection to Google is made, and no analytics cookie is set.
With your consent, Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<id> with a lifetime of up to two years, to distinguish returning visits from new ones. The data processed includes pages viewed and time spent, approximate location, device type, browser, operating system and referral source. IP addresses are truncated before storage. Advertising and personalisation signals are switched off.
Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and Google LLC's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis for storing and reading the cookies is § 25(1) TDDDG, and for the subsequent processing of your data Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom left; withdrawal takes effect from that moment. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.
7. No other third parties
This website loads no fonts, scripts or styles from external servers. There are no social media plugins, no embedded videos and no content delivery network. Apart from Google Analytics, and only after your consent, your browser contacts no third party while using this website.
8. Hosting
This website is hosted on a server in Germany. The host processes the data described in section 3 on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
